Writer Or Writing; Who Holds the Post of Dominance

Writers are people of various nature. Their great endowment for writing, for originating a readable content for the potential readers is a very special, almost extraordinary thing to possess. Still, there exists an uncountable amount of such people, producing a wide variety of literary masterpieces which subsequently penetrate the world of desirous readers.

I believe in this inseparable duo of the writer and his writing; two individual yet dependent pieces, which must cooperate together for the sake of their existence. I claim the writing to be of its own, rather a dominant character. Writers may spend hours of planning, structuring and ruminating on their work. However, once started off, the writing itself will lead its way forwards, leaving the original creator far behind.

Writing, considering it to have its own personality of a sort, gets very particular about places. I always find it hard, arduous almost, to find a perfect place where the writing of mine may be performed. Different genres hold onto different places. Each one seeks a particular setting, mood and atmosphere; such elements are of great importance when it comes to the creation itself. As a matter of fact, it is not the place exclusively which is essential for the writer.

Speaking from my personal perspective, I require the setting around myself to be flawless almost. It varies according to the genre or type of writing I aim to carry out. Although, there is something which I feel the need for every single time; to be alone. Once the room or any other place where I am currently placed fills up with people, I lose my train of thoughts. My writing simply will not cooperate, it refuses to put itself into function. The air within the closeness of mine must be clear, so my mind can freshly start filling the blank pages in front of me.

There are further elements which considerably affect my writing; more precisely speaking, my writing chooses to be affected due to its obstinacy. There is plenty of them and they vary, depending on many other elements. In the end, there originates a network of a sort, which, due to its density and richness almost swallows the writer up.

Writers may represent the intellectual thinkers, initiators, creators; but this long and thorough journey from which the final literary pieces come into being; this is managed and shaped by the miscellaneous personality of writing, and writing exclusively.
