As If Yoko Ono Was Still Alive

Summer Night

When the night comes after a warm summer day,

walk out.

Barefoot.

Take a deep breath and let your feet slightly touch the cool ground.

Let the light breeze touch your skin.

See the dark sky above and plunge into it,

plunge into the infinity you feel around.

Appreciate it.

Do not lock yourself up,

do not hide before the night,

do not hide before the dark.

You are free to breathe outside.

Flowers

Open the windows and watch the raindrops falling to the ground.

Leave your umbrella home

and grab your flowers instead.

Stay outside,

feel the rain on your skin

and let your body absorb the vitality from the raindrops.

Do not be selfish

and safe your flowers too.

Stay long enough so the rain can water them well

because they need the water the same as humans do.
